For our 1-day time frame, we modified materials from Answers in Genesis and used Bibles, videos, experiments, pictures and maps from Creation references to reinforce the Biblical truth of Creation: God created everything from nothing in 6 actual 24-hour days just like it says in the Bible.

In Chapter 1 of Genesis, we find the basic statement of God creating the heavens and the earth in the beginning. (Genesis 1:1-2) The remaining verses in Chapter 1 describe what God created each day for six days.
•    Day One: Light called "day" and darkness called "night." (Genesis 1:3-5)
•    Day Two: The expanse separating the water under it from the water above it called "sky." (Genesis 1:6-8)
•    Day Three: The water under the sky gathered to one place called "seas," dry ground called "land," and vegetation of seed-bearing plants and trees that bear fruit with seed in it. (Genesis 1:9-13)
•    Day Four: Lights in the sky to separate day from night and as signs to mark seasons and days and years, two great lights--the greater light for day and the lesser light for night. He also made the stars. (Genesis 1:14-19)
•    Day 5: The great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. (Genesis 1:20-23)
•    Day 6: All land animals (including those that don’t exist any more) and humans. (Genesis 1:24-31)
